What is the Layer Cake?

A laser cut walnut EDC tray and knife display for your desk, coffee table or nightstand. It stacks precision cut layers like a cake: cork or leather where your blades rest, steel hardware and feet, a magnetized pocket for screws and pivots, a 5-bit tool holder, a phone slot and a spot for RE patches.

What knives fit?

The interior is up to 8.9 inches wide, which covers most EDC folders and a lot of fixed blades. Knife-specific layer kits, like the CRK Sebenza and RHK XM-18 kits, add a perfectly fitted bed for a specific model and run 20 dollars with an order.

How do I order one?

Each Layer Cake is made one at a time or in tiny batches by me and my son, so ordering is invitation only, one per person. Join the notify list and you get a direct order link when the next batch starts. No bots, no drops at 3 a.m., just an email.

What if I do not like it when it arrives?

Send it right back undamaged and you get a full refund, no questions asked. It has not happened yet, but the offer stands.
